Castle Rock Marine is a family owned business now owned and operated by brother and sister team Mark and Laurie Norwick.  The marina was formed in 1975 by Darwin & Lynn Pease and is now celebrating its 35th anniversary! The 4 acre facility was once a campground and one of the structures, a cabin, still remains on the grounds.  Darwin and Lynn moved to Wisconsin from the Chicago area and began selling boats and motors to locals and visitors to Castle Rock and Petenwell Lakes… the 4th and 2nd largest lakes in Wisconsin!  We are located about 1 mile from Castle Rock Lake on State Hwy 58.

By January of 2000 the business had grown to a facility housing 3 service bays, an indoor showroom, and multiple outbuildings used for storage.  In January of 2000 Darwin and Lynn retired and, wanting to keep the business a family owned entity, sold the business to Glenn and Laurie Golinski (now Laurie Norwick).  Those years saw the addition of a service bay, the addition of multiple outboard engine lines, the renovation of our hoist operation, and the hiring of sales and service staff.  We also began growing our sales area by attending and showing our products at local boat shows in Madison and LaCrosse.

Ownership changed again in January of 2010 and remains family owned and operated by Laurie Norwick and Mark Norwick.  Mark and Laurie remain committed to growing the business with plans to continue updating equipment, remodeling the facility, and expanding sales and service to other product lines.

The business has survived the gas crisis of the mid seventies, the buyout of OMC (Johnson & Evinrude), changes in boat lines, multiple construction projects along Hwy 58, and most recently, the economic downturn of the last 3 years.

Through it all we strive to maintain a high level of service sending our mechanics and sales staff to training on a regular basis, keeping a solid inventory of parts & accessories, and purchasing the tools and equipment necessary to keep up with the ever changing service needs of our outboard and inboard/outboard products.

We take pride in offering quality products carrying the best in fishing, runabouts and pontoon lines and matching those with the most reliable outboards and inboard/outboard engines available.   We are unwavering in our commitment to service and customer satisfaction that can only come from a “mom and pop shop” and our staff of 4 mechanics, drivers, and 3 store front sales personnel, do all they can to keep you enjoying the water on your fishing boat, pontoon boat, runabout, canoe, paddleboat, even on a towable tube!

We know the success of Castle Rock Marine comes from the loyalty of our customers and the 35 year old sign that still hangs above the office door reminds us daily that… “We have an old fashioned idea that quality and service still count!”
